Chapter 335 335: The Temple Of The Sapphire Sea I
It didn\'t take too long for them to get squared away, Cole didn\'t waste too much time, or better yet it could be said he ran as fast as he possibly could to log back in. After the drama at the space port he was not sure he had the confidence to face his parents, there was just too much tension.
And if he was really being honest, this was the first time he has ever seen his parents like this. They were almost so sure of themselves, he had never seen a moment of weakness from the two of them as they raised him and his brothers. He had no idea how to address that.
He told Tehila to tell them to log in, being busy in the 3rd floor and helping her deal with issues in the territory should be more than enough distraction for them. But aside from that he really could not deal with the sheer amount of grief in the air, especially those he could feel not just from his parents but from his sister in-law and her children….Kaito really fucked up.
When Cole logged back in, the first thing he noticed was the height, it was crazy. But by this point was at most 7 feet tall, and that was saying something. He looked at the mirror in front of him, his horns had poked out of his hat, ruining it, but still it was functional. His tail whipped back and forth as pure golden eyes met his gaze. Why a demon would have golden eyes was baffling, but there was no more dual colors with his eyes, everything was a light gold, like the sun.
He was a little bit bulky, seems the upgrade this time was building on power and strength. But he was still in full control of his body. He chuckled to himself, he felt good. He made a fist feeling the explosive power held within, it would not be too far fetched for Cole to say that he could punch a mountain and turn it to rubble, he liked this feeling.
He shifted his attention to notifications that was waiting for his attention. It was time to consolidate his power and see just how much he has grown after spending a week hunting gold rank beings of varying power. It was quite unfortunate the dragon queen was already dead before he got there, but Cole did gain a lot from this floor. He was looking forward to the challenges of the next one.
[You Race Raen Arch-Duke Has Been Upgraded To Raen Princeling! +180 To All Stats Per Level, +80 stat points per Level]
[You Have Reached Level 83! +540 to All Stats! +240 stat points]
[Sin Eater Has been Used! +3000 to All Stats! +3000 Energy]
If Cole had to be honest, this was not looking good for him, or rather not looking good to him. And this was because he had not been able to completely take down Garudon, Cole had been expecting to at least get a stat to the diamond rank or something. But perhaps he had been a little too greedy.
He made his way out of the captain\'s cabin and out onto the deck, for a moment he was caught off guard by the amount of activities going on. There gnomes and there were Raens on deck, everyone doing one thing or the other, some of them were even diving into the ocean, hunting a school of massive barracuda like fishes.
Cole could tell every last one of them was at the gold rank. In the end he was building a force of his own that was comparable to what Garudon and his lady dragon had been able to. Cole wasn\'t so psyched about forces he took over from someone, but this force he was building, all the way from scratch was something he valued, because at least they belonged solely to him and him alone.
"Hey Boss"
Eze said to him as he drew closer. But even before Eze could finish calling out to him, someone yelled out, drawing the attention of the rest of the Raens.
"Leader On Deck!"
The rest of the Raens stopped what they were doing and turned to Cole, a fist over their chest in a form of greeting. He didn\'t expect that, but Cole responded, squaring his chest as he too, placed his right fist over his heart, returning their greeting. It was militaristic but Cole could respect the fact that a culture was being born.
"As you were Raens." he said to them as he went to port side of the ship, only to have his eyes widened in shock when he saw debris allover the ocean. Some of them were still whole enough for Cole to know that they were ships, flames licked the ocean surface, and above all was the scent and heavy blanket like feeling of chaos.
"What happened here?" Cole asked Eze as he shifted his attention back to the carnage in front of him.
"The people of Irgis were not so happy that we chased their protector off and looted him….. and them for everything they had. They gathered a fleet and chased after us...it did not end that well for them, especially when you consider the fact that the seven ships we have in our possession is a cut above the rest.
Plus there was an inordinate amount of gold rank prisms within the pile of treasure the ship Ravena looted. At least 5 thousand individual pieces if not more. As for silver, iron and bronze prisms, they were in the tens and hundreds of thousands. I requisitioned a few of them, the lesser prisms of course to consolidate the stats of your Raens. The least anyone here is, would be Gold Rank III.
Ad with the fight, the highest is at Gold rank VII, which would be me. At the rate which we\'re going, we would probably hunt the sapphire sea dry of gold rank beings before anyone of us can even reach the peak of the gold rank. As such I think you\'re right in the sense that it\'s time for us to move on to the Next floor....and hunt it dry."
Cole blinked, then blinked again as he turned to look back at the Raens, heck there was even a kid among them. If he\'s standing here at the gold rank he must be really powerful too.
"Locusts! That what we are, freaking world ending energy eating locusts...damn!"
