The warnings quickly popped up as soon as Arthur accepted the bounties. Though he didn\'t care for that as much, since he knew how to use other methods to kill the beasts.
Of course, it didn\'t mean that Arthur was overconfident either. He wasn\'t going to kill all of them at his current level. He was going to kill a few before gaining more levels and then continuing onwards.
\'I\'ll have to prioritize killing them according to the areas they are in.\' Arthur thought to himself before looking at the clerk. "I\'ll come back when I\'m done with the work." He said before leaving the building.
Once outside, Arthur started walking towards an inn. He needed a place to save and rest, since it would be time to log out in a few more hours. He thought it was better to secure a place first.
While walking through, he continued to think.
\'The Wrapping Vine Viper, Blood Mane Sickle Beast, and Trunel Orc Leader are all in the Trunel woods to the east. They should be my targets when I enter the area as it is the nearest.
Ocher plains are further to the south and will take at least six hours to reach on foot. As for the Ballard Cliff, it\'s the furthest and also the hardest area to reach… but it is also the one with the best reward possibly.\' Arthur thought about how he would attempt the bounties.
By the time he reached the inn, he had already made up an order in his mind.
\'Guess the Wrapping Vine Viper will be the first.\' Arthur thought before looking at the innkeeper in front of him. "I\'d like a room." He asked.
"It will be one silver coin." The innkeeper replied.
"Do I get a discount if I book it longer?" Arthur inquired.
"Hmm… if you book a week at once, you can get one day for free." The innkeeper said after staying silent for a few seconds.
"Sure. I\'ll get it for a week then." Arthur replied before putting seven coins on the counter.
"You\'ll have eight days of stay then." The innkeeper took the coins before handing the room key to Arthur. "You can get food and drinks downstairs too later. And if wish to take a bath, you can do so at the common bathroom at the back." The man informed.
"Sure. I\'ll keep that in mind." With that done, Arthur took the key and stored it for later.
Having sold off all his items, Arthur\'s bags were now empty and he could freely go around.
But before he did that, he needed to buy a few things.
\'Time to get armor…\' Arthur thought as he left the inn.
But by the time he got to the armor shop, he was too late.
"Ah, you\'re closing already?" Arthur inquired the shopkeeper.
"We have orders from the city guards to close early at night. An hour later, there would be a curfew too." The shopkeeper replied.
"Is it due to the bandits?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, don\'t you know?" The shopkeeper raised a brow.
"I\'m new here." Arthur replied.
"Hmm… the only places that are allowed to stay open are inns, the adventurer guild and a few taverns. If you want to buy anything, you best come later in the day." The shopkeep replied.
Arthur thought about the time needed and realized that it would be after two days of in game time that he would be returning here.
\'Since I\'ll be offline for sixteen hours, that\'ll be two in game days… I should prepare the plan for the guard captain soon enough.\' Arthur counted the time so that he wouldn\'t make a mistake.
When players were offline, the game would still be running. More accurately, for each day that passed in the real world, three days passed in the game. This was something the players needed to get used to, or they would make mistakes.
These mistakes could be bad or good depending on whether the players had a time limited task in the game.
There was no lack of players who had missed out on quests or simply failed them since they didn\'t register the fact that the time flow was different.
\'While the game does show us time according to the real world, the in game time is still an important factor. The NPCs live in that, and their life is affected accordingly.
I might have asked for a few days from the guard captain, but it is best to finish the plan as early as possible.\' Arthur thought to himself.
He hadn\'t gotten a direct quest from Fredric but it didn\'t mean there was no development of a quest in the background. Arthur would get the quest depending on whether he was able to come up with a decent plan or not.
Thankfully, Arthur already had an inkling of how he could do something like that.
\'The Bounties will come in handy for this…\' Arthur hadn\'t accepted the bounty just for the rewards.
He was actually intending to take advantage of them to overcome the obstacles in the quest.
\'The Trunel Woods Orcs would be useful for this.\' Arthur smiled to himself.
The Orcs were a common type of humanoid mob that could be found in many areas. These were named according to the area they lived in and had tons of variants.
But they all had a few common factors, such as the fact that they breed fast and eat a lot of food.
\'But what if they don\'t have the food they need?\' A plan started to form in Arthur\'s mind. \'Without food, they would look to the nearest alternative… it might just be a few bandits perhaps. Hahaha…\'
